1. Operator and scope
This website is operated by 酷石有限公司 (TiKOUS, Inc.), Taiwan Unified Business No. 94073011, at 18F., No. 206, Sec. 1, Keelung Rd., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City 110, Taiwan. This policy covers personal information associated with browsing this site, material and sample inquiries, technical support and partnership correspondence. brio labs currently operates under TiKOUS; its separate websites and software services have their own notices. Browsing or contacting this site does not automatically enroll you in another business’s marketing list.
2. Information and sources
When you contact us, you may provide your name, email, telephone, organization, role, application requirements, project details, correspondence and attachments. Sample delivery or a transaction may require delivery and billing contact details. Servers and infrastructure services may generate IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser or device information, referring pages and security logs. If an authorized colleague or business contact provides your details, we explain the source where required by applicable law. Provide only information necessary for your request, not identity numbers, payment-card details, health information or unauthorized personal information about others.
3. Forms, selector and email
The current contact form prepares an email draft in your browser and opens your email application; it does not submit form contents directly to a TiKOUS server. You must review and send the email for us to receive it. Partnership and insulation inquiry buttons also use email links. Your browser and email provider may retain drafts or autofill data under their settings. The material selector runs rules in your browser. It is not a free-text AI assistant and does not transmit your selections to a material-recommendation service.
4. Purposes and basis
We process information as needed to answer inquiries, clarify technical requirements, provide documents, discuss samples and quotations, assess partnerships, perform agreements, secure the website and address legal obligations or disputes. Processing must have a basis permitted by applicable law, such as establishing or performing a contractual or similar relationship, consent or a legal obligation. Merely browsing the site is not consent to unrelated uses of personal information; separate notice and consent will be obtained where required.
5. Recipients, methods and locations
Authorized personnel use information through email, electronic records and necessary manual processes. Hosting, email, IT maintenance and necessary delivery or professional service providers may process it to provide their services. We prefer de-identified requirement summaries when discussing projects with material suppliers or technical partners; disclosure of identifiable contact details requires an appropriate basis and notice where applicable. Information may be provided to competent authorities where legally required or needed to protect lawful interests. We do not sell personal information. Processing may occur in Taiwan and where relevant service providers operate or maintain servers. Contact us for information about services and processing locations relevant to your inquiry. Cross-border processing remains subject to applicable law.
6. Retention
Inquiry and partnership records are retained only as needed for responses, follow-up and related business purposes. Records that become part of a transaction are subject to performance, accounting, tax and other applicable retention requirements. Security logs are retained as needed for security and incident handling. When a purpose ends and no legal retention, dispute or other lawful need remains, information should be deleted, de-identified or its processing stopped. Backups may expire through normal rotation; records that must be retained are restricted to the necessary purpose. You may ask about retention of specific information or request deletion as described below.
7. Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access or inspection, a copy, supplementation or correction, cessation of collection, processing or use, and deletion. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email support@tikous.com with “Personal information request” and the minimum details needed to identify relevant correspondence. We may reasonably verify identity and will handle requests within applicable statutory periods, explaining permitted extensions or restrictions. Any legally permitted necessary cost will be disclosed in advance. You may also complain to the competent authority.
8. Providing information and marketing choices
You may browse public content without providing inquiry information. Without contact details or necessary requirements, we may be unable to respond, arrange samples or complete an evaluation. Required form fields help prepare a complete draft; direct email remains available. An inquiry response is not a marketing subscription. If you receive unwanted marketing, reply or contact support@tikous.com to stop marketing use.
10. Security and external services
Security requires appropriate access management, service configuration and personnel practices; no website or email transmission can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords or confidential formulas through ordinary inquiries; agree confidentiality and transfer arrangements first. Report suspected personal-information incidents to support@tikous.com; we will handle them and required notices under applicable law. External websites, news sources and brio labs services have their own policies and may receive connection information when you follow links.
11. Children and policy updates
This website is intended primarily for professional and business use, not children. Contact us if you believe a child has inappropriately provided personal information. Material policy changes will be identified by an updated version and date here. Separate notice or consent will be provided where required; later changes do not retroactively expand previously stated purposes.
